Answer:

I think B...not sure

Explanation:

Magna Carta, which means 'The Great Charter', is one of the most important documents in history as it established the principle that everyone is subject to the law, even the king, and guarantees the rights of individuals, the right to justice and the right to a fair trial. It sought to prevent the king from exploiting his power, and placed limits of royal authority by establishing law as a power in itself.

What did the 15 European countries who met at the Berlin Conference in 1884 determine?
zaharov [31]

Berlin Conference in 1884 determined how to break up Africa into colonies for their respective countries.

At a conference in Berlin, held from November 1884 to February 1885, Chancellor Bismarck organized the meeting to lay down the rules that should govern the colonization of Africa. The British, French, Germans, Belgians, Portuguese, Italians threw themselves into the interior of Africa, that was shared by Europeans in less than fifteen years at the cost of wars against African kingdoms that ended in defeat ...

Explanation:

  • Berlin Conference 1884-85. (also known as the Congolese Conference and West African Conference) regulated European colonization and trade in Africa.
  • in other words legalized the wars, exterminations and looting of an entire continent.
  • This period was even officially known as the New Imperialism (the old one referred to the colonization of the American continent from the 15th to the beginning of the 19th century).
  • The conference was organized by Otto van Bismarck, the first German chancellor, and Germany, as then a new imperial force, led European forces (mostly colonialists from the period of the "first imperial wave") to unprecedented overseas looting, while the Berlin Conference formalized and intensified its marches with its General Act. to the African continent (the so-called Scramble of Africa).
