Answer:

d. (x+2)/(-x²-5)

Step-by-step explanation

 ƒ(x) = x + 2/(2x²)

The function is undefined when x =  0.

b. ƒ(x) = (2x + 4)/(3x + 3)

The function is undefined when 3x + 3 = 0, i.e., when x = -1.

c. ƒ(x) = (6x - 5)/(x² - 7)

The function is undefined when x² - 7 = 0, i.e., when x = √7.

d. ƒ(x) = (x+2)/(-x²-5) = -(x+2)/(x² + 5)

The function would be undefined if x² + 5 = 0, i.e., if x² = -5. However, the square of a real number cannot be negative.

This function has no excluded values.

valentinak56 [21]

Mr. and Mrs. Lorenzo have saved $38,430 for the home they want to buy

Information about the problem:

  • Initial cost = $213,500
  • Savings = 18%.
  • Final savings =?

To solve this exercise we have to apply the percentage formula:

Final savings = initial cost * savings / 100

Final savings = $213,500 * 18 / 100

Final savings = $213,500 * 0.18

Final savings = $38,430

<h3>What is a percentage?</h3>

Percentage is defined as the number that represents a ratio of a total that is divided by 100 equal parts. It is represented by the symbol %.

Graph Y = -1/2x-6<br> Please help me out! I will mark answer brainiest if you do...
elena55 [62]
Y = -1/2x - 6......u have a slope of -1/2....u have a y int of -6 or (0,-6)

the x int can be found by subbing in 0 for y and solving for x
0 = -1/2x - 6
1/2x = -6
x = -6 * 2
x = -12.....so ur x int is -12 or (-12,0)

so go ahead and plot ur intercepts.....(0,-6) and (-12,0)...well...u cant really plot ur x axis because ur graph is not big enough....so start at (0,-6)...and I know the slope is -1/2....and u would usually start at (-12,0)...but that is not on the graph....so start at (0.-6)....and go up 1 and to the left 2, plot that point....then up 1 and to the left 2...plot that point......u would eventually cross the x axis at (-12,0).

or u could just go to desmos....its a graphing calculator...and see for urself
