can somebody give a CLEAR description of Mrs. Flowers from I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings !!!! I have to write a two-page essay
never [62]

okay so i was just doing some research on it, so Maya saw Mrs. Flowers as a role model. She wanted to be  like Mrs. Flowers when she got older. Maya stated that Mrs. Flowers was a " Life Line". After Maya's "incindent with her boyfriend"  she was, closing herself off from the world, didnt want to talk, was depressed, etc. Mrs. Flowers was there, she would sit with her and force her to talk, and they read poetry together. If it wasnt for Mrs. Flowers Maya could have gone down a long sorrow filled road, being alone. They become best firends.

PLEASE HELP! TRUE OR FALSE! According to Coleridge in his Biographia Literaria, it is legitimate to call any composition compose
tresset_1 [31]

True

In Coleridge's Biographia Literaria, he says that it is legitimate to call any composition composed using rhyme and meter a poem. In the text he says, "If a man chooses to call every composition a poem, which is rhyme, or measure, or both, I must leave his opinion uncontroverted." He goes on to repeat this when he says, "the composition will be a poem, merely because it is distinguished from composition in prose by metre, or by rhyme, or by both conjointly." In both of these he asserts that a poem is a composition with rhyme and meter.
