The year 1774 of September 5, delegates from the 13 provinces with the exception of Georgia met in Philadelphia as the First Continental Congress to sort out frontier imperviousness to Parliament's Coercive Acts. The Congress issued a statement of rights and sorted out a financial blacklist of England. It additionally issued the Olive Branch Petition requesting that the rule reviews the settlements' grievances.
