What happened to the birth rate after world War II?

The combination of factors that produced this child birth increase was that the soldiers returning home from the war, wanting to start a new journey and longing for stability in the lives of their families and loved ones.

The benefits of GI Bill promised decent pay, access to decent work, and affordable housing and raising a family was possible.

After more than fifteen years of economic instability, things finally got better in the United States, and everyone was ready to take full advantage of it.

Suppose you are a World war 1 veteran in 1932. Write a persuasive letter to your congressman explaining why you need your bonus
postnew [5]
World war 1 veterans weren't very highly respected when they returned and many of them were traumatized after the events of ww1. This led to many developing alcoholism problems, not finding jobs, or anything similar. It would make sense for them to ask the state for help considering they became the way they are because they defended their country in the war.
