1. An unbiased eyewitness, who is not a Jew, may be in the best position to write the history of the Holocaust.

What was the Holocaust?

The Holocaust refers to the orchestrated and genocidal campaigns of Nazi Germany and its supporters during the Second World War to execute the "Final Solution" on the European Jews by sending them to concentration (death) camps.

Through the Holocaust, an estimated six million European Jews were massacred.

Using an eyewitness provides a firsthand account of the Holocaust, while an unbiased Non-Jew provides objectivity to the issue without hurting the feelings of tormentors and their victims.

2. Zbyszek is interested in learning about the history of Bryansk during the WWII era to become acquainted with the roles that the people played in the Holocaust.

What were the different roles played by people in Bryansk?

During WWII, some people in Bryansk helped to protect the Jews while others collaborated with the devil to massacre Jews, exposing many other Non-Jews to oppressive treatment.

To unravel the different roles, Zbyszek would have to face Holocaust perpetrators and victims with their biased and subjective opinions.

This may leave Zbyszek with unfinished conclusions.

3. Marzynski is making the film about the Holocaust that took place in Bryansk to expose and document the evils of genocide originating from groupthink and hatred.

Perhaps, through the film, Marzynski will be able to educate future generations that extreme nationalism results in ethnic cleansing.

4. Love of neighbor is the factor that separated the people who helped the Jews to escape the Holocaust from those who did not

According to Martin Luther King, Jr., injustice in Birmingham is injustice everywhere.

However, given the magnified fear imposed on the psyche of the population by Nazism, everybody faced some risks from either helping the Jews or not.

5. Knowing what the Holocaust meant, the responsibility for its perpetuation goes to the Nazi Party and its leaders, including Nazism sympathizers.

Unfortunately, the Polish citizens of Bryansk cannot be absorbed from responsibility because many of them either collaborated or did nothing to stop it.

Thus, documenting the history of the Holocaust in Bryansk is important to forestall future occurrences.

Law Incorporation [45]

Answer:

The statement is referring to the Enlightenment, and the Industrial Revolution, respectively.

Explanation:

The Enlightement was an intellectual movement that developed in Europe during the 1700s. This movement spearheaded new ideas about politics, philosophy, and the arts. Important philosophers of the era are Jean-Jacques Rousseau, Voltaire, and Immanuel Kant. One important consequence of this movement was the French Revolution.

The Industrial Revolution started in Britain in the late 17th century, but it fully developed in the 18th century (the 1800s). From Britain, it spread to Belgium, France and Germany, leading to fast economic growth that had been never seen before. For this reason, economic development, industrial growth, and imperalism, became the main objectives of European nations during this century.

Would you consider the world wars to be total wars? explain your reasoning.
Alexeev081 [22]
Yes--they involved all parts of society and contained a whole government focus on war.

Both WW I and II included an all out government effort for the wars including rations, propaganda, and funding. The home front had to sacrifice and work to support the war and of course some had to actually fight on the front. All members of society were asked to contribute to the war.
