Hello, my dear friend!
You will never guess what has been happening. My big sister got married! She looked so beautiful, in a long white dress and a fancy hairstyle. Bet you could never imagine me in that!
I was the lead bridesmaid though. I had to go try on all these poxy dresses, but settled on a simple, comfortable top with leggings. I have to say, I didn't look all that bad. It felt so funny watching my sister, who I grew up with, walk down the aisle. I wanted to cry and laugh and make a tantrum at the same time. It was great when the ceremony ended and we went to the banquet. That was great fun, all the delicious pies and cakes.
I'm friends (sort of) with groom, I think he's a bit ditzy though. It was extremely sad when she had to leave us. I nearly started crying, but I didnt want to show myself up infront of everyone there. My sister was crying. She cried buckets. My mum too. They could have filled a swimming pool with tears!
It was very enjoyable though. The house is quiet without my sister, but I know she's happy, which makes me happy too. Plus, she visits us every Saturday, which is very fun.
How have you been, anyway?

The correct answer of those presented is option D that is that the post-war world was empty and meaningless. In the Great Gatsby for example, you see the collapse and breakdown of those aiming at improving their position in pursuit of material things to achieve their dreams. This way of existing looks at first amazing, but it is ultimately seen to be worthless.
Answer: D. Heat is treated as a reactant or a product
Explanation:
The effect of heat on a reaction be determined when heat is treated as a reactant or a product.
In this case, if heat is the reactant, it'll be the substance that will undergo a change during the reaction. It should be noted that reactant is present at the beginning of a chemical reaction.
On the other hand, as the product, heat will be present when the chemical reaction is completed. Therefore, the correct option is D.
Answer:ust six days after the fall of the Fulgencio Batista dictatorship in Cuba, U.S. officials recognize the new provisional government of the island nation. Despite fears that Fidel Castro, whose rebel army helped to overthrow Batista, might have communist leanings, the U.S. government believed that it could work with the new regime and protect American interests in Cuba.
Explanation:
I am assuming you mean "seceded to FORM the Confederate States of America," as states did not secede from the Confederacy....
The Confederacy claimed 13 states: South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, and Texas were the first seven, and then once the war began, North Carolina, Tennessee, Arkansas and Virginia also seceded. Kentucky and Missouri *never seceded* but the Confederacy claimed them anyway.
And the Union never recognized the Confederacy as a legal entity -- but that is another discussion!
