"...that Library where every book shall lie open to one another..."
musickatia [10]

The answer for the first question is “D: It is a description of Heaven”. This part Meditation 17 tells about how man reaches his ultimate end – death. After death, a man’s journey is not ended. Instead, he starts a new and better life in the spiritual world, which is heaven. The “Library” represents heaven where every person or “page” becomes more open to one another under God’s guidance.

For the second question, the answer is “B: Farewell Ben”. Ben Jonson wrote “On My First Son” for his eldest son named Benjamin.

“C: He and his wife are so in love that it does not matter whether they are together.” is the answer for the last question. It doesn’t matter whether they are together or not because they know that they love each other very deeply.

In 3–5 complete sentences, thoroughly explain the conflict in your Module One short story. Identify the conflict as internal or
kherson [118]

Answer and Explanation:

In Amy Tan's short story "Rules of the Game", the conflict is mainly external, man vs. man or, more specifically, daughter vs. mother. Waverly and her mother seem incapable of understanding each other's feelings and demonstrations of such feelings. That is made very clear toward the end of the story, when the mother proudly introduces Waverly to every one, even strangers, on the street. Waverly is a sort of child prodigy, a chess genius, and her mother can't help but display her. Waverly, however, does not enjoy being exhibited, reacting in a way that is disrespectful and offensive, in her mother's opinion.
