The scene in Twelfth Night that I will present here is seen in Act 1 Scene 1:

When Orsino entered in the land of Illyria he was attended to by his lords. He is in love with Lady Olivia. He orders to be entertained with music and refuses to hunt. He thinks about Olivia.

Valentine reveals that Olivia was mourning for her brother who died recently. She veils her face refusing to marry anyone until seven years. Orsino is obsessed with Olivia and kept listening to music and dreaming of Olivia.

What is Twelfth Night?

Twelfth Night refers to the play that was written by William Shakespeare. The play The play talks about Viola and Sebastian who got separated in a shipwreck. Viola falls in love with Orsino. But Orsino was in love with Olivia.

Some tips to be used to recreate a play with a different setting are:

 • Maintain the original theme of the story, with slight variations
 • Show the clear difference in societal expectations between one historical period and another.

What is a Narration?

This refers to the telling of a story, usually through the aid of a narrator where the sequence of a story is told to an eager audience.

Hence, we can see that to make a recreation of a drama with a different setting, you would have to follow the other tips which are:

 • Show how an arranged marriage would be viewed now.
 • Use clear dialogue to detail two lovers going against their parent's wishes.
 • Use literary elements like a flashback, foreshadowing, suspense, etc to enhance your re-enactment.

In writing, walk through the process of finding the main idea. Then, describe the main idea of the excerpt. Be sure to explain y
Sauron [17]
The central or main idea either refers to the point or purpose of a paragraph or it refers to the summary of a piece of writing. These two concepts are closely related in a piece of writing because the point of each paragraph should contribute to the point of the entire piece of writing. In order to discover the point or purpose of a paragraph, one must first identify the topic of the piece of writing. Then, one must identify the structure or medium used to discuss the topic. Finally, for a paragraph, one should identify the sentences that the other sentences seem to support, and for an entire text, one should identify the statement or idea that the paragraphs seem to discuss or support. When this process is applied to the excerpt from An Interview with Marielle Tsukamoto, I come up with the following answers:

Topic: Japanese internment

Structure: Interview

Central Idea: "I think the saddest memory is the day we had to leave our farm."

Why: The first sentence is the main idea because the sentences that follow it support it. The first few sentences explain why the memory is so devastating. The last few sentences explain that the most devastating aspect was that the family was forced to leave for no legal or just reason.

Which sentence in this excerpt from "Common Sense" by Thomas Paine proposes that the American colonies should be neutral in thei
zvonat [6]

The sentence, which proposes that the American colonies should be neutral in their relationship with foreign nations is given below:

As Europe is our market for trade, we ought to form no partial connection with any part of it. It is the true interest of America to steer clear of European contentions, which she never can do, while by her dependence on Britain, she is made the make-weight in the scale of British politics. Europe is too thickly planted with kingdoms to be long at peace, and whenever a war breaks out between England and any foreign power, the trade of America goes to ruin, because of her connection with England.

It can be inferred from this sentence that, the relationships that the Americans formed with foreign nations usually affect their trading with other countries negatively when there is conflict. In order to avoid this in the future, Paine suggested that American colonies should maintain neutral relationships with foreign countries.
