Answer:

They do not equate because renewing things mean you can reuse like growing trees to cut down and make the trees paper and you do that over and over again. Still, recycling means you destroy something, only to make the item something different, and recycling the item can be turned into fuel or electricity.

Recycle and renew are the two R's that uses and transforms the waste material. Recyclables do not equate to renewable as recyclable materials do not occur naturally.

What are recyclable and renewable?

Recyclable is the resources that are used finite times over and over and undergo a certain process for re-use purposes. They can be naturally or by humans, processed to be used again.

Renewable is resources that are natural and are replenished in nature when gets decreased by natural processes.

Some recyclables like aluminum and glass are not renewable as they are not formed naturally and do not get replenished by natural processes.

Therefore, recyclables are not renewables.

Think about the DNA coding sequence of a gene. If an A were swapped for a T, what kind of mutation could it cause and why?
sleet_krkn [62]

Answer:

The answer is D.

Explanation:

The given situation in the question where an Adenine nucleotide is swapped for a Thymine nucleotide, which as stated are complimentary of each other just like guanine and cytosine, can cause all three types of mutations, frameshift nonsense, frameshift missense and silent because the situation is not specific to either of them. There is no information whether the change resulted in a change in the amino acid structures or not. In this case the best answer is D.

I hope this answer helps.
