Answer:

maybe

Explanation:

It seems that living by a value system is easy enough, at least in theory. At the end of the day, a value system is just what is important to you in life, so living according to that system should come naturally. However, many of us don't live by a value system all the time. Have you ever been in any of these situations?

Someone said or did something that you strongly disagree with, but you didn't protest and felt ashamed afterwards.

You set goals and then you don't reach them.

Your life or career did not turn out the way you wanted it to be.

Your desires often conflict with what you need to do or what is "practical".

You are too busy pleasing other people that you don't even know your true values.

If any of the above resonates with you, then this guide will help you. In it, you will learn what a value system is and why it is important. We will then look at all the steps to identify and prioritize your values, change them as needed, and live according to them so that your actions align with your values.

When you live by a value system, you feel better and more focused on the things that matter to you. This guide will show you how to achieve this.

Write a dialogue between two friends about the importance of lockdown
makvit [3.9K]

Answer:

Explanation:

-How are you feeling during the lockdown?

-I am a bit sad that I can’t see my friends, but I am trying to organize time better.

-Me too. And I feel good to know that I am doing all I can to prevent the spreading of the virus – not seeing many people, not going out, working from home, and limiting our contacts.

-Yes, we need to stay home as much as we can and practice social distancing.

-Are you wearing the mask in public?

-Of course! I do not want to risk infecting those around me, nor spreading the virus. I have older people in my family, and I must secure they are safe.

-That is good. I am also working for home and ordering my groceries, to minimize the risk. The less exposed we are to other people, the less chance we have to get infected ourselves.

-Not only you're taking care of yourself, but also securing our health worker. Imagine if we all got infected now, the health system will be overwhelmed!

-Very true. And then those who are in critical condition won’t get the best propper care. More people can die.

-I have also found information that even young people can have long-lasting consequences from the virus.

-Really?

-Yes, they have identified the virus leaves effects in up to 12% of people. If 12% of the population has health issues and is suffering from fatigue, we won’t be able to continue as normal as before. Also, they will have to take more off work, and the economy will suffer.

-That is terrible! It is better than to practice lockdown for now for less time, and then be safer in the future.

-Absolutely. We all have to take care of each other and be sure we take all possible measures to stop the pandemic.

Select one story from “The Monk’s Tale” for students to read, and write an introduction that prepares them to understand it. The
nydimaria [60]

One of the many tragedy stories presented in The Monk's Tale, the narrative of Sampson talks about the downfall of the titular character, about the betrayal of his wife and how even without his strength he defeated his enemies. Being related in many ways to other heroes stories such as Hercules and Enkidu, it presents the classic story of the main character falling from grace and coming back (although in a more tragical way) to defeat his enemies.

Using a stanza of five-eight lines and a rhyme structure organized in ababbcb, its perhaps the most complex text of The Canterbury Tales, the book where The Monk's Tales can be found.
