Answer:

The transition from cel animation to digital has lowered the costs of animation, made colors more vibrant, made errors less common and drastically reduced the time it takes to fully animate a product. There are many advantages to this, though some would argue that digital animation is less special or impersonal. A consequence of using digital animation is a lack of skill with traditional art mediums like painting or pencil sketching.

what art similarities and differences among the statues of David by Donatello and Andrea Del Verrocchio?
Papessa [141]
Similarities include:
- Contrapposto pose where the weight is poised onto one leg with the other bent at the knee
- Both depict the figure of David. In comparison to other versions, (like Michelangelo’s most famously) these two show him with more traditionally feminine aspects
- Made of bronze
- David is wielding a sword (symbolism)
- Biblical imagery
- both commissioned by Medici family

Differences per artist

DONATELLO:
for context donatello had a really complex & troubled history with the catholic church. some interpret his version as satirical of the church or an innuendo because of smaller details like the placement of the feather going down his thigh
- in this way, he is adhering less to conventional Christian principles
- David’s frame is more boyish in this one, howd he kill a giant? though posed proudly or slenderly this also could heavily relate to religious undertones, as if he was assisted by Christ or is divine himself to accomplish slaying Goliath
- independence, strength, youth & beauty
- wearing only boots and a helmet

VERROCCHIO:
- the fact that david stands on Goliath’s detached head here adds a balance of masculine and militaristic values like strength or invincibly. this makes a statement of David as a conqueror or victor, unlike Donatello’s he looks more mature or manly which touches upon mortality rather than divine assistance. the accomplishment of man and mortal was really relevant as a renaissance theme
- Represents Florence’s growth/prosperity on the rise
- triumph over foes, masculinity, strength

sorry this is so long but I hope you find it helpful!! I had to do a similar project for ap euro and a lot of this stuck with me. let me know if I can clear anything up!! :)
