The smallest possible number that is divisible by 45 when the blanked place of the number is filled is 345285.

<h3>What is the divisible rule of 9 and 5?</h3>

The divisible rule of 9 and 5 are:

  • Divisible rule of 9- When the addition of all number is divisible by 9, then that number also divisible by 9.
  • Divisible rule of 5- When a number has a digit 0 or 5 in the last of it, then that number also divisible by 5.

Two digits of the 6-digit number are missing.

X = 345 * 8*

The smallest possible number from this is divisible by 45. The factors of 45 are 9 and 5.

45=9\times5

Thus, the 6-digit number which is divisible by 45, must be divisible by 9 and 5.

To be divisible with 5, the number has 0 or 5 in last. So the numbers can be,

X = 345 * 85\\X=345 * 80

For first number, when the blank is filled with number 2 to make sum 9 and for second the blank number should be 7. Thus, the numbers,

X = 345 285\\X=3457 80

Thus, the smallest possible number that is divisible by 45 when the blanked place of the number is filled is 345285.

Sati [7]
If we divide 56 by 4 we get 14.  Why by4?  So that one number is 3 times the other So he had 14 balls that went into the green bags and 42 (56-14) that went into the red bags.  We could just answer the question and say 14 but I think they want to know how many in each green bag.
14 and 42 don't work because they are not the same number of balls.  What number is a common factor?  7 is,
We could have 2 green bags and split the 14 balls into 2 groups of 7 and with the remaining 42 - put them into 6 red bags of 7 each.
And so the answer to your question is:
7 ball in each bag  = 2 bags are green, and 6 bags are red
                                        14 balls              +    42 balls            = 56 bouncy balls

Plz help <br> Find ‘x’ &amp; ‘y’
just olya [345]

Answer:

x=20. y=15

Step-by-step explanation:

in similar triangles the sides are all in proportion. this means:

\frac{25}{5}  =  \frac{x}{4}  =  \frac{y}{3}

\frac{25}{5}  = 5

so:

\frac{x}{4}  = 5

x=5×4

x=20

and...

\frac{y}{3}  = 5

y=3×5

y=15
