Those who didn't share henry's opinion and whom he discredited are referred to as; Acting Like Cowards

What is the meaning of the speech?

This is taken from a speech delivered by Patrick Henry to the virg-inia convention addressing it's delegates.

When Patrick Henry began his speech to the Virg-inia Convention, he first praised the men who spoke before him. Thereafter, he considered them to be patriots and calls them "worthy gentlemen."

After stating that he does not want to seem disrespectful toward those with whom he disagreed, he then proceeded to make statements discrediting those who didn't share his opinions and it implied that they were acting like cowards.
