The period between 15th and 17th century was regarded as the Age of Exploration. The developments like Newton's laws of motion and geographical discoveries of Galileo have been important to this age.

Many new countries were explored by the explorers due to the developments during the Scientific Revolution. One such example is the exploration of America by Christopher Columbus in the 1490s.
