When tissues are harmed by bacteria, trauma, heat, or any other cause, an inflammatory reaction occurs.

What happen when a honey bee stings?

When a honey bee stings or a disease infects damaged cells, chemicals are released. chemicals are a group of substances that include prostaglandins, histamine, and bradykinin. These substances promote swelling by forcing blood vessels to leak fluid into the tissues.

During the inflammatory reaction, the following processes occurred:

Redness, swelling, and loss of function are all symptoms of heat.

Inflammation is the body's natural defense system. Damaged cells, irritants, and infections are recognized by the immune system, white blood cell kills the antigen and stimulates the other defense cell to act. this process is called a macrophage.

Xelga [282]

Answer: The statement is true

Explanation:

Persons with type O- blood are often referred to as the "universaldonors" based on the presence of neither type A or B antigen on the red blood cell, coupled with anti-A and anti-B antibodies. Hence, since

the type O blood lacks antigens, it does not clump when mixed with any of the other blood types in the recipient plasma

Thus, the type O blood is a universal donor

natali 33 [55]
 • Water molds are the protists which get nutrients mainly by absorbing molecules from other organisms through their cell walls and cell membranes.
 • These organisms are absorptive in nature and they obtain nutrition either through dead and decaying matter or by living off as parasites on other organisms such as plants and fishes.
 • These organisms have filamentous growth because of which they were thought to be fungi however their cell wall is made up of the cellulose and, not chitin and thus they can be differentiated from fungus.
