Answer:

One thing they COULD do is have the St.Louis and Houston Stations both send out very high wave frequencies and figure out from there what the magnitude is and send it back to LA, but that might take a bit of time, depening on if power cables aren't down.

What is the primary cause of the growth any missions that result in global warming
Rainbow [258]
A. Human Activity
"According to the National Climate Assessment, human influences are the number one cause of global warming, especially the carbon pollution we cause by burning fossil fuels and the pollution-capturing we prevent by destroying forests. The carbon dioxide, methane, soot, and other pollutants we release into the atmosphere act like a blanket, trapping the sun's heat and causing the planet to warm. Evidence shows that 2000 to 2009 was hotter than any other decade in at least the past 1,300 years<span>. This warming is altering the earth's climate system, including its land, atmosphere, oceans, and ice, in far-reaching ways."

The concept that geological layers are laid down, one on top of the other, according to processes that still continue is known a
mariarad [96]

Answer:

Law of Superposition

Explanation:

According to the law of superposition, the sediments are usually deposited on top of one another, giving rise to the formation of sedimentary layers. In an undisturbed sedimentary sequence, the layers that are formed at the apical portion are the youngest and the layers that are found at the base are the oldest.

Thus, the concept of laying down of sediments on top of one another is the law of Superposition.
