Answer:

There are several approaches to quantify American belief in so-called paranormal events. One method is to question a representative sample of the population whether they believe in ghosts. In a 2019 IPSOS poll, 46 percent of respondents claimed they did.

Another is to inquire as to what they are afraid about. According to the Chapman University Survey of American Fears this year, approximately 9% of 1,035 adults polled were terrified of ghosts, and the same percentage were afraid of zombies; many more were afraid of government corruption, the coronavirus, or significant civil disturbance.

The last time Gallup surveyed people about ghosts, in 2005, 32 percent of respondents said they believed in “ghosts or that spirits of dead people can come back in certain places and situations.” When Gallup asked the same question in 1990, the result was 25 percent.

I personally do not believe in ghosts, however I did when I was a toddler.

Honestly I haven't thought about it much. I don't believe in ghosts but I do believe in spirits. I mean, since we can only see visible light there's a lot we don't observe. For example, we can't see UV light but we know it's around us. I like to think that there's a spiritual side to things that we just can't see quite yet.

What is Dialogic Reading
antiseptic1488 [7]

Answer:

Dialogic reading is just children and adults having a conversation about a book. Children will enjoy dialogic reading more than traditional reading as long as you mix-up your prompts with straight reading, vary what you do from reading to reading, and follow the child's interest.

Discuss two examples of suspense or humor created by point of view in the gift of the magi
Mandarinka [93]

In "the gift of the magi", the narrator, like a comfortable, old storyteller, explains and describes the fictional account of Della and Jim at Christmas time.

Explanation:

One of the ways in which O. Henry creates suspense and tension in the story "The Gift of the Magi" is by using what many story writers, including screen writers, which is called as "ticking clock."

Another way by which suspense is created in the story by the narrator is when Della got pair of tortoise shell combs as a gift, but didn't expect to receive them as a gift and she did not know whom did she get those from. So these were two situations of suspense in the story.
