Adjectives are key points in a sentence. They help describe nouns and how someone did something. Without adjectives sentences would be plain and have no meaning. Sentences with good adjective use create a clear picture in the readers mind. They show the reader not tell them. 
 
Example: The dog ate food.
With Adjectives: The dog playfully ate some nasty, green looking food,
Not only do the adjectives describe how the food looked but it also describes
how the dog ate that food.
