Socially Mediated Escape
Vinil7 [7]

The most probably explanation is that the tantrum behavior is maintained by: socially mediated escape.

Explanation:

Socially mediated escape is a behavior which explains the unpleasant social situations. Some of the socially mediated behaviors are: sensory stimulation, escape, access to attention and access to tangibles.

In the above scenario, a student was often engaged in tantrum behavior in the classroom while doing homework. The teacher takes him to the office room to calm him down. Both of them return to the classroom after the student calms down. But the student couldn’t complete his homework fully. He was doing this regularly. His tantrum behavior was maintained by socially mediated escape.

How do ideas and beliefs shape our lives and the world around us? Use at least two examples from the past unit. Trade Routes Bel
dsp73

The correct answer to this open question is the following.

How do ideas and beliefs shape our lives and the world around us?

I am going to use the reference of the trade routes, belief systems, Western European manorialism, and Feudalism.

It is well documented that humans today are the by-product of many influences of the past. We can see this in the family environment, in the way we conduct business, politics, and in society. We are creatures of habit and the past is our direct influence.

Trade routes such as the Silk Route not only exchanged goods but ideas, customs, values, and culture that spread through Asia, India, the North of Africa, and Europe.

This meant that many belief systems were passed from one nation to the other, and influenced the way people did things. These ideas were inherited with the pass of time and repeated from generation to generation.

Without a doubt, feudalism marked Western Europe in the Middle Ages. It was a way of living where wealthy people lived the good life exploiting poor people, peasants, that worked the landlord land for shelter and food. The Catholic church allied with the powerful kings of Europe and exerted too much control over their subjects and followers.

In the book Where the Mountain Meets the Moon, why did Fruitless Mountain have that name? *
Aleksandr-060686 [28]

Answer: Fruitless Mountain is the broken heart of Jade Dragon. Nothing grows or lives on the mountain; the land around it is hard and the water of the river is dark because Jade Dragon's sad spirit is still there.

Explanation:

The villagers called it Fruitless Mountain because nothing grew on it and birds and animals did not rest there. Crowded in the corner of where Fruitless Mountain and the Jade River met was a village that was a shade of faded brown. This was because the land around the village was hard and poor.
