Mike is taking a social studies test. mike was only able to finish 1/6 of the test in 1/2 an hour. How long will it take him to finish the test.

1/6 = 1/2 hr

2/6 = 1 hr

6/6-1/6 = 5/6 left of the test

2/6 + 2/6 = 4/6 = 2 hours

4/6 + 1/6  = 2 + 1/2 = 2 1/2

 so 2 1/2 more hours
