So, to solve this, you just plop those x and y values into the equation. So:

3(8) -2(-5)= 6
24- (-10) =6
34=6
34=/=6
Since these two are not equal, the ordered pair <em />is not a solution.

Can someone help with #28
Mariana [72]
It would be 50

130+180= 310

360-310= 50

You get 180 from the missing side by 70 that becomes 180.

The table shows the amounts of food collected by two homerooms. Homeroom A collects 21 additional items of food. How many more i
Andreyy89

<span>Let x be additional food item the homeroom B should collect  to have greater item per student than homeroom A.</span>

(22 +24 + x) / 16 > (30 + 42 + 21) /24

(22 +24 + x) > 3.875 (16)

X > 16

<span>So they should collect more than 16 food item to have a greater item per student</span>

Find the following integral
ololo11 [35]

There's nothing preventing us from computing one integral at a time:

\displaystyle \int_0^{2-x} xyz \,\mathrm dz = \frac12xyz^2\bigg|_{z=0}^{z=2-x} \\\\ = \frac12xy(2-x)^2

\displaystyle \int_0^{1-x}\int_0^{2-x}xyz\,\mathrm dz\,\mathrm dy = \frac12\int_0^{1-x}xy(2-x)^2\,\mathrm dy \\\\ = \frac14xy^2(2-x)^2\bigg|_{y=0}^{y=1-x} \\\\= \frac14x(1-x)^2(2-x)^2

\displaystyle\int_0^1\int_0^{1-x}\int_0^{2-x}xyz\,\mathrm dz\,\mathrm dy\,\mathrm dx = \frac14\int_0^1x(1-x)^2(2-x)^2\,\mathrm dx

Expand the integrand completely:

x(1-x)^2(2-x)^2 = x^5-6x^4+13x^3-12x^2+4x

Then

\displaystyle\frac14\int_0^1x(1-x)^2(2-x)^2\,\mathrm dx = \left(\frac16x^6-\frac65x^5+\frac{13}4x^4-4x^3+2x^2\right)\bigg|_{x=0}^{x=1} \\\\ = \boxed{\frac{13}{240}}

Find the measure of ∠COB in the figure. answers: A) 24° B) 48° C) 72° D) 132°
jasenka [17]

Answer: 48

Step-by-step explanation: COB and DOA are vertical angles. This means the two of them have the same measure. Because we know the measuremen of DOA, we can easily find the measuremen for COB since these angles are the same, so COB is 48 degrees.
