The legs of the triangle are 6.91 feet, 7.9 feet, and 10.5 feet.

<h3>What is a Pythagoras theorem?</h3>

The Pythagoras theorem states that the sum of two squares equals the squared of the longest side.

The Pythagoras theorem formula is given as

H² = P² + B²

The ratio of the one leg of the right triangle to the other leg of the right triangle must be 8:7.

Let x be one leg and y be another leg. Then we have

x/y = 8/7

   y = 7x/8

Then the greatest length of one leg of the right triangle given the other leg of the right triangle is 10.5 feet will be

 10.5² = x² + (7x/8)²

110.25 = x² + 49x²/64

110.25 = 113x²/64

      x² = 62.44

        x = 7.902

        x ≅ 7.9 feet

Then the other leg will be

y = 7.9 x 7 / 8

y = 6.91

The earning of the salesperson is an illustration of a linear function.

The possible functions in the two scenarios are: \mathbf{I(s) = 0.1s + 2500} and \mathbf{I(s) = 0.05s + 2000}\\

The function is given as:

\mathbf{I(s) = 0.1s + 2000}

When the base salary is increased, a possible function is:

\mathbf{I(s) = 0.1s + 2500}

This is so, because 2500 is greater than 2000

When the commission rate is decreased, a possible function is:

\mathbf{I(s) = 0.05s + 2000}\\

This is so, because 0.05 is less than 0.1

So, the possible functions in the two scenarios are:

\mathbf{I(s) = 0.1s + 2500} and \mathbf{I(s) = 0.05s + 2000}\\

See attachment for the graphs of both functions

Aneesha travels at 50 mph. Morris is traveling at 3 feet per second less than Aneesha. How fast is Morris traveling
vampirchik [111]

Speed of Morris is 47.95 mph

Step-by-step explanation:

  • Step 1: Convert 3 feet per second to miles per hour.

⇒ 3 ft/s = 3/1.467 mph (∵ 1 mph = 1.467 ft/s)

             = 2.05 mph

  • Step 2: Find the speed of Morris.

Speed of Morris = 50 mph - 2.05 mph = 47.95 mph

Find the missing lengths of the sides
dusya [7]

Answer:

a=9, c=19

Step-by-step explanation:

Aight so basically in 30, 60, 90 triangles there is a formula for the sides

the hypotenuse(the longest side)=2a

The tiny side (the smallest side)=a

and the middle child =a\sqrt{3}

Based on that we see that a is 9

and since c=2a then it's 18
