Why bells will ring across Canada and elsewhere in November 11(please explain)
velikii [3]

On November 11, 2018, churches bells were rung 100 times all across Canada - also all over the world - to commemorate the 100 year anniversary of the signing of the armistice that ended World War I, also known as <em>"The Great War</em>".

This event did also honor the Canadians soldiers that sacrificed their lives during that conflict that took place between 1914 and 1918.

The event was named "Bells of Peace".
