In the interview "Astrophysicist Chronicles Battle over Pluto", run-on sentences and fillers are used but in the preface from "The Pluto Files", the complete sentences are used.

What is a preface?

A preface is an introductory or prologue that states the brief details of the subject matter or the issue depicted in the whole book. In Neil deGrasse Tyson's preface in The Pluto Files full-length sentences are used.

In Neil deGrasse Tyson's interview with Melissa Block, "Astrophysicist Chronicles Battle over Pluto" there are the use of the fillers and the run-on sentences. It contains many meaningless words and run-on sentences that include the clauses without a proper joining.

Therefore, the use of fillers and complete sentence differs from the interview and the preface.

One way to interpret the gods in Greek myths is to see them as personifications of forces in nature like the sea or lighting,or
Monica [59]

The approach that Baldwin suggests is that of seeing the gods not as personifications of natural elements, but as gods themselves. Baldwin believes this approach to be more charming and fairer to the stories.

The main reason why Baldwin argues this is that he believes this is what the Greek people intended when telling the stories. By arguing the opposite, we are putting our own ideologies and points of view on them, instead of appreciating things as they described them. We also attempt to give the myths a useful and practical meaning (which he describes as utilitarian) instead of appreciating the spiritual and aesthetic elements of the story.
