The volume of the composite figure is 145.68 cubic meters

Volume of composite figures

Composite figures are figures that is made up of more than one shape. The volume of the figure is expressed as:

Volume = volume of cylinder + volume of prism

Volume = πr²h + lwh

where

r is the radius of cylinder

h is the height

l, w and h are the length, width and height respectively

Substitute the dimensions

Volume = 3.14(2)² * 3 + (2.4*5*9)

Volume = 37.68 + 108

Volume = 145.68 cubic meters

Hence the volume of the composite figure is 145.68 cubic meters

Match the matrix operations with the resulting matrices. Image Attached.
Alexxandr [17]

Answer:

1. 2A + 3A

2. 2A - B

3. 2A

4. 2(A-B)

Step-by-step explanation:

When multiplying matrix by a number you just multiply each number in the matrix by whatever you are multiplying. When adding 2 matrices you just add the corresponding number in each matrix. Ex: You add the top left number to the top left number. The same goes with subtraction.

Hi can someone pls help me with this!!!
Eva8 [605]

the domain is the x value (first number) and the range is the y value (second number)

(if a number appears more than once in the domain or range, like in number 1 you don't have to write it again.)

to graph the domain and range you just plot the points,

and to map them you have to put the x values in the first oval and the y values in the second, usually in order from smallest to largest.

then you have to draw arrows connecting each x value to the y value that was in the same pair. just like when writing down the domain/range, if a number comes up again you don't have to write it down again. instead, you might have two or more arrows connecting to the same number.

Which is the equation of the given line in point- slope form?
Alina [70]

Answer:

y-0=-1(x-8)

Step-by-step explanation:

The given line passes through (0,8) and (8,0).

The slope of this line is m=\frac{8-0}{0-8} =-1.

The point-slope form is given by:

y-y_1=m(x-x_1)

We substitute the slope and the point (8,0) to get:

y-8=-1(x-0)

We substitute the slope and the point (0,8) to get:

y-0=-1(x-8)
