The space craft are apart by a distance of 10km, 32 degrees

We have to determine the distance For Scott

He is at 100km 30 degrees

We have to determine distance For Spock

He is at 110km 62 degrees

Next we have to find the difference between them by subtracting their positions

This would be solved as

110km 62 degrees -100km 30 degrees

110 -100 = 10 kilometers

62 degrees - 30 degrees = 32 degrees

Hence we can conclude that they are apart from the space craft at 10km 32°.

What is the surface area of this wedge ?
Bess [88]

Answer: 84 ft^2

Step-by-step explanation:

The whole prism can be divided into 5 surfaces.

Two triangles and 3 rectangles.

Find the area of each of the 5 shapes and add them together.

The triangle has a base of 4 and a height of 3.

Area of triangle 1:    A= 4*3 * 1/2

                               A = 6

Area of triangle 2:     A = 4*3 * 1/2

                                   A = 6

Area of rectangle 1 :   A= 4*6

                                    A = 24

Area of rectangle 2;   A = 3*6

                                     A = 18

Area of rectangle 3:    A= 5 *6

                                      A = 30

Now add the areas together

    6 + 6 + 24 + 18 + 30 + =  84 ft^2

39 degrees (ABC)

Step-by-step explanation:

The whole of the angle shown (ABD) = 107 degrees

EBD = 34

Since BE bisects CBD, both CBD and EBC are equal (half of 68)

107 - 68 = 39

ABC = 39
