The biggest problems they had to face were themselves. They had to face the fear of being in a new place, the fear of failure which could result in their deaths. They faced their other characteristics as well, when they finally were able to settle and became confident they then faced their ego.
India and Pakistan used to be in the same country (British India) and they share their culture and languages. During the Independence of India, the country was divided into two, but the division is problematic, especially with respect to Kashmir, which the both countries claim - that's the source of the conflict.
Destructive: when waves wash up on beaches they drag pebbles with them when they draw back.
Constructive: as the waves wash up onto the beach they lose energy, thus they deposit any sediment/pebbles that they have.
