The answer is A , for determining range look at Y-axis only from down to up .For this question we can also say

range: [1,7] , if both ends of the line are arrows it means the line goes from negative infinity to positive infinity (which means range is all real numbers) , but if the point is include just like this graph the points will be also include in range , but if the points are an empty circle the points won't be include for writing range

hope it helps

Kareem estimated the height of his office building to be 35 ft . The actual height of his office building is 38 ft. Find the abs
Leno4ka [110]

Answer:

the absolute error is 3 ft and percent error of Tony's estimate is 789.4%.

Step-by-step explanation:

Tony estimated the height of his office building to be 45ft. The actual height of his office building is 41ft.

Now, to find the absolute error and the percent error of Tony's estimate.

The height of his office building = 45ft.

The actual height of his office building = 41 ft.

So, to get the absolute error:

The height of his office building - the actual height of his office building

38ft-35ft

=3ft

The absolute error = 3ft.

Now, to get the percent error of Tony's estimate:

3

------   x    100

38

=7.894x100

=789.4

789.4%

Therefore, the absolute error is 3 ft and percent error of Tony's estimate is 789.4%.

x = 2y + 5 y = (2x − 3)(x+9) | How many ordered pairs (x, y) satisfy the system of equations shown above? A) 0 B) 1 C) 2 D) Infi
Basile [38]

\huge\bold{ANSWER:}

Correct option is C)

On putting x=2y+5 in second equation, we get

y=(4y+7)(2y+14)

⇒8y 2 +70y+98=y

⇒8y 2+69y+98=0

Discriminant D=69 2−4(8)(98)=1625>0

Hence, the equation has 2 real roots.

Therefore, there are 2 ordered pair.

Option C is correct.
