PYTHAGOREAN THEOREM (LAB ASSESSMENT!)
Katyanochek1 [597]

Answer:

C. 503.6

Step-by-step explanation:

The shape is a square and the missing value is the area of the square.

Because it is a square the value of one side is the same for all sides.

The value for the side bordering the triangle is 22.44 so all other sides are 22.44 as well.

22.44 * 22.44 = 503.55 which rounded to the nearest tenth is 503.6.

The manufacturing cost of a cell phone was $136. Sellers first marked up the cost by 25 percent. Sales were poor, so sellers dec
Helen [10]
Manufacturing cost = $136
sellers added 25% = $ 136 * 25/100 = $34
manufacturers cost + 25% = $136 + $34 = $170.
old selling price = $170

Sellers decreased the markup to 17% (of manufacturing cost): $136 x 17/100  = $23.12
New selling price = $136 + $23.12 = $153.12

both of these answers show: original cost + markup value

In triangle abc, we have angle bac = 60 degrees and angle abc = 45 degrees. the bisector of angle a intersects line b at point t
Helen [10]
In my estimations you have a triangle with 2 angles and an altitude or height.  You have to find the base of the triangle in order to find the area.  I set up the triangle and sine the 60 degree angle was bisected I know that the vertex angle is 30 in my right triangle.  I used the tangent ratio of 30 to find the base of that triangle and then multiplied it by 2 to get that the whole base measure is 27.71281292.  Then I multiplied it by the height I was given of 24 and divided the whole mess in half to get the area.  332.553 units squared.
