True. A neuron is nerve cell. It passes through the cell body via the axon and finally to the end brush , a collection of fibers that extend off the axon. The electrical impulse then triggers a release of chemicals which permit the impulse to jump through the synapse, the space between the axon of one neuron and the dendrites of the next neuron.
