After 3 months memberships will cost the same.

We have,

Cost of Membership of 1st gym = $ 10  per month

And, the Cost of the sign-up fee for 1st gym = $ 45

And,

Cost of Membership of  2nd gym =  $ 25 per month

And, the Cost of the sign-up fee of the 2nd gym = $ 0

Now,

Let the number of months = m

So,

According to the question;

45 + 10m = 25m

⇒

25m - 10m = 45

15m = 45

m=3

So, After 3 months memberships will cost the same.

The equation of the graphed line is 2x – y = –6.<br><br><br> What is the x-intercept of the graph?
Bas_tet [7]
U can either look at ur graph...and where the line crosses the x axis is ur x intercept...which is (-3,0)

OR

take ur equation and sub in 0 for y, and solve for x, ur x intercept.
2x - y = -6
2x - 0 = -6
2x = -6
x = -6/2
x = -3.....so ur x intercept is (-3,0)

The cheerleaders are selling tickets to a pasta dinner to raise money for new competition outfits. They plan to charge $6 per pe
sesenic [268]

Answer:

22 and a half ticket sold here will result in no profit situation for cheerleaders.

Step-by-step explanation:

The charge per person = $6

The total cost for dinner = $135

If cheerleaders do not make any profit , then

{ If the money earned from tickets  = The money Spent} ⇒ NO PROFIT

Now, charge per person = $6

So, number of person needed to earn a total of $135

n = \frac{\textrm{The total money needed}}{\textrm{Charge per person}}

n = \frac{135}{6} = 22.5

So, 22 and a half ticket sold here will result in no profit situation for cheerleaders.

If they sell 23 tickets, they will have a profit of $3

And if they sell 22 tickets, they will be short by $3.
