Esplique quais foram as soluções apresentadas pelos filósofos medievais que se empenharam na chamada questão dos universais
Marysya12 [62]

The so called "universal question" or "problem of universals" includes whether or not "properties" belonging to a person, place, thing, or idea really exist.

Realists on the subject believe that yes, properties exist and are distinct and that universals are real.

Nominalists believe that only particulars and individuals can exist, but deny and do not believe that universals are real.

Transcendental idealists do not believe that universals are real and that they only exist in the minds of rational beings.

Anicius Boethius introduced the problem of universals. John Duns Scotis argued for scotistic realism, that properties exist in reality.  William Ockham asserted that universals only exist in the human mind.

An Alliance between Germany, Austria-Hungary, and Italy prior to WWI
sertanlavr [38]
The correct answer is the Triple Alliance of 1882.
The Triple Alliance, a great secret agreement between Germany, Austria-Hungary, and Italy formed in May 1882 and renewed periodically until World War I. Germany and Austria-Hungary had been closely allied since 1879. Italy sought their support against France shortly after losing North African ambitions to the French. The treaty provided that Germany and Austria-Hungary were to assist Italy if it were attacked by France without Italian provocation; Italy would assist Germany if Germany were attacked by France. In the event of a war between Austria-Hungary and Russia, Italy promised to remain neutral. This abstention would have the effect of freeing Austrian troops that would otherwise have been needed to guard the Austrian-Italian border.

A client is being treated with phenytoin for treatment of seizures. what should the nurse monitor to prevent toxic reactions to
suter [353]

Phenytoin is being used to treat a patient's epilepsy. To avoid harmful drug reactions in the patient, the nurse should keep an eye on the client's blood levels of the medication.

  • The nurse should keep an eye on the client's blood drug level to make sure it stays within the therapeutic range. Toxicity cannot be avoided by keeping an eye on blood pressure, urine frequency, or seizure activity. It might be used to gauge the client's therapy progress.
  • Serum drug monitoring is necessary because phenytoin has a restricted therapeutic drug level, often between 10 and 20 mcg/ml. Nervous system reactions are the most frequent side effects of phenytoin medication and are typically dose-related. Nystagmus, slurred speech, ataxia, poor coordination, sleepiness, and disorientation are all reactions.
  • Phenytoin is used to treat and prevent seizures that may start during or after brain or nervous system surgery, as well as to control some types of seizures. The medication phenytoin is a member of the anticonvulsant medicine class.
