The correct answer is option C) “The October Revolution”.

In 1917, the Russian Empire was defeated and a provisional government took place. There were two important revolutions in Russia in 1917. The first one was the “February Revolution” which started with strikes and demonstrations from Petrograd employees. The second one was the “October Revolution” in which the Bolsheviks, led by Vladimir Lenin, took the power of the Provisional Government and became the first socialist state.

The October Revolution is seen as one of the most important events of the 20th century as it spread the ideas of Communism in the world.
