According to roger williams, how did the english usually justify their attacks on the indians?
Ivenika [448]
They claimed that their wars were defensive. Whenever they attacked they would claim that the Natives had committed a transgression or had attacked first or were a threat or anything similar. This enabled them to do terrible things and still look like heroes in the eyes of the public.

konstantin123 [22]

If we check Election of 1896, we can see that inflation, the institution of bimetallism, economic depression, gold standard and some other things that were problems of the time were mostly what were discussed by both Williams. The difference was in the point of view (one of Left and other of Right).

But still, it makes the correct answer to be:

Which country controlled Vietnam prior to the Vietnam War? (5 points)
Anestetic [448]

France was a country which controlled Vietnam prior to the Vietnam War as their protectorate.

Explanation:

After WWII, Vietnam won independence but France still controlled the country until Nguyễn Tất Thành took over in 1954. In 1959, North Vietnam launched and forced a system to reunify the country, which pointed to an outbreak of the American War in Vietnam in the early 1960s. It was a close result of the First Indochina War (1946–1954) within France, which maintained Vietnam as a colony, and the communist forces .In 1973 a “third” Vietnam war began a continuation, actually within North and South Vietnam but without significant U.S. preoccupation.
