Hello!

When doing Sine, Cosine and Tangent the sides of the triangle tell you what to do

The hypotenuse is H
The bottom side is A
The Straight up and down side is O

For Sine you do O / H
For Cosine you do A / H
For Tangent you do O/ A

Put in the values you Sine

Sin A = 5/ 13

Put in the values for Cosine

Cos A = 12/ 13

The answer is A) Sin A = 5/ 13, cos A = 12/ 13

Hope this helps!

Korvikt [17]
16-3/4=15 1/4

You can convert to fractions first, and then convert back to a mixed number like:

16/1-3/4  and when you add/subtract fractions you need a common denominator

64/4-3/4

61/4

15 1/4

Or you can convert your fraction to a decimal to get:

16-0.75

15.25

Elena-2011 [213]

<u>ANSWER</u>

5N^2=3^{2} \times 5^{5} \times x^{6}

<u>EXPLANATION</u>

N=3\times5^2 \times x^3.

5N^2=5(3\times5^2 \times x^3)^2

Recall this property of exponents;

(a^m)^2=a^{m} \times a^m

So our product becomes;

5N^2=5(3\times5^2 \times x^3) \times (3\times5^2 \times x^3)

5N^2=5\times 3\times 3 \times 5^2 \times 5^2 \times x^3 \times x^3

5N^2=3\times 3\times 5 \times 5^2 \times 5^2 \times x^3 \times x^3

Recall this law of exponents:

a^m \times a^n =a ^{m+n}

5N^2=3^{1+1} \times 5^{1+2+2} \times x^{3+3}

5N^2=3^{2} \times 5^{5} \times x^{6}
