The answer is C. Both writer were incredibly impacted by the American Culture. In Okita's lyric speaks more about how you encounter Culture. Cisneros, then again, discusses where your family from. They both, however, discuss how social foundation and your appearance does not decide on what being Americans mean.

Write a story with the following as the first line:
Natali [406]

Answer:

“I didn’t think the house was actually haunted until I went inside and saw the horrible things,” I thought. I was so scared when I was inside, but I was also relieved that I could have made it out alive. I asked myself what I was going to do and I was not going to go to the police because they would not believe me. I needed a plan and I needed it fast. Then an idea popped into my head. “ Of Course! I can’t believe I didn’t think of it in the first place” I went running stepping on some red, orange, and yellow leaves since it was fall and I needed to go to Luna’s place, but the leaves slowed me out and I kept on slipping, so I ran on the grass and I was almost there. I was at Luna’s place and I rang the doorbell waiting for her to answer. She opened the door and I didn’t give her time to tell me to come in or hi because what I needed was urgent. “ Whoa! What’s the rush?” she asked. “ I need a huge favor and the only person I knew that had it was you, sooo can I borrow your knife that you got from your dad before he died.” She was looking at me like she had lost a game to a person who cheated and they believed that person. It took awhile for her to answer and she finally said “ I don’t know” she said worried “ That knife is special and well you know it’s my dads and I can’t just give it to someone.” I was disappointed when she said that, but I was still going to try and convince her. “Come on please. I need it and I promise that I won’t lose it, get a single scratch on it, or give it to the wrong hands.” “ Fine, fine but you better keep your promise” she said smiling at me.

She was giving it to me and I really appreciated that she did not ask me why I needed it or else she would have not given it to me and would have told me to go visit the hospital. I was back to the haunted house and I was scared to go back inside but then I remembered I had the knife Luna gave me. I am so glad her dad had it because this knife is supposed to keep spirits away. I was right there on the front porch and I was putting my hands on the door knob opening the door, but I took it away. I couldn’t open it because I was just too scared and the things I saw were horrible and I don’t know if I was ready to confront them. I kept thinking positive and then when I saw I had opened the door. I put my foot inside and then my other one and then I went inside. I was walking inside the house holding Luna’s knife like a gun and SLAM! went the door. I turned around really fast and saw no one and that was when I was really scared. I put the knife back on the sheath and tried to open the door again, but it was locked. My heart was pounding really fast because I was scared “ Come out! I know you are here and I am not scared of you!” I was coming in closer and going upstairs, but there was nothing, so I just kept on searching. There had been nothing scary so far, so I wasn’t really that scared anymore. I heard a noise and it was like a laughing noise and I knew that laugh from anywhere. “ Ok ok come out JAMES and MARGARET.” James and Margaret came out holding their laughter, but at the same time looking guilty. “ Why did you do that? I was so scared.” I said. “ Oh come on you didn’t believe us so we just had to do a little prank.” said James. Margaret said “ You’ve got to admit it was pretty funny.” I did think it was funny from their point of view and I laughed. We all went outside of the house laughing at the prank those two had pulled off and I was actually glad that the house was not haunted after all.

The End.

Hope this helps.

Have a great day. =D

The question answer of the pobble who has no toes for practice
kirill [66]

The lesson we learn from the poem the pobble who has no toes by Edward Lear is that we should take care of the important things in our lives

Explanation:

In the beginning, the poet introduces us to a young Pobble who is very proud of his toes His aunt Jobiska warns him that, pobbles often lose their toes by the time they mature. She tells him that his toes have a chance of salvation if he keeps his nose warm. The Pobble henceforth wears a red flannel scarf on his huge nose. He decided to go for a swim one day, his scarf is stolen by a dolphin before he swims to the opposite shore. When he gets out of the water, he discovers his toes have vanished. As the Pobble mourns his lost toes, he is flabbergasted and contemplates on which creature of the deep may have taken them: A crawfish? A shrimp? A mermaid?

It's a story about ; properly taking care of one's things, learning to let go of things that are really not all that important, being obsessed with material things, accepting one's body image, about growing up and becoming an adult, the inevitable things that may happen, fear of loss.

                              HOPE IT HELPS (◕‿◕✿)

                                         SMILE!!
