d healthier lives?
(You will need to be specific. For example: write an article for the local newspaper, organize a community garden, or anything else you feel might increase awareness. You will not have to do what you recommend, but you will need to think of at least one or two examples.)

Through population-based interventions, such as action to address socioeconomic determinants of health and health inequities, health promotion and illness prevention can be achieved.

What is disease prevention?

Disease prevention is defined as targeted, population-based, and individual-based treatments for primary and secondary (early detection) disease prevention with the goal of reducing disease burden and risk factors.

Primary health:

Actions aimed at preventing the onset of a disease are referred to as primary prevention (this may include actions to improve health through changing the impact of social and economic determinants on health; the provision of information on behavioral and medical health risks, alongside consultation and measures to decrease them at the personal and community level; nutritional and food supplementation; oral and dental hygiene education; and clinical preventive services such as immunization and vaccination of children, adults and the elderly, as well as vaccination or post-exposure prophylaxis for people exposed to a communicable disease).

Ways to promote health awareness:

 1. Vaccination of children, adults, and the elderly, as well as post-exposure prophylaxis;
 2. Information about behavioral and medical health concerns, as well as strategies to mitigate those risks at the individual and population levels;
 3. Disease prevention programs, such as access to preventive services (for example, counseling), should be included at both the main and specialty levels of health care.

Supplemental nutrition and food; and Oral health services and dental hygiene education.

What services are provided by dental labs
ikadub [295]
Hi there Lala!

My sister worked in a dental lab so it gave me a small insight of what happens!

In dental labs; they essentially work on the supplies (equipment) dentists use. They make teeth mounds, examine dental apparatus etc.

Dental technicians are essentially work in the background. Once the dentist has examined a patient and know what need to happen; they pass that information to the technicians so they can work on it and provide their service. They would be the people who make teeth mounds for observation and for braces.

Hope this helped :)

What type of person would be a bad choice for a mediator during a negotiation
alexandr402 [8]
An impartial person makes a bad mediator. They may be impartial because of implicit or explicit biases.

People who struggle to make objective observations, or want to preach their opinion make bad mediators. The purpose of mediation is to seek out the root cause of a problem between two parties, so the mediator must remain objective.

A nervous person, or a (for lack of a better word) weak person makes for a poor mediator. Mediators need to remain assertive, even if the parties whom they mediate become angry (or if the parties being mediated withdraw). The mediator's job is to provide clarity to each side's thoughts, which requires both sides to speak openly, and freely. Allowing one side to dominate the conversation, or allowing one side to give up when it's clear that an amicable solution has not been reached, makes a mediator bad.

People that don't fluently speak the primary language of those being mediated also would make a bad mediator. How can they mediate that which they don't understand?

There are probably thousands of character traits with which you could answer this question.
