Who won the presidential debate last night and why? personal opinions welcome
STatiana [176]

Answer:

well--- I cant really answer that question as to who won the debate.

Explanation:

Lets get into it shall we

I think the debate last night was horrible! Essentially, it was two children going on and on, arguing with each other and whatnot without getting anywhere! I'm a Trump supporter, but I find his actions last night unacceptable. His constant interruptions couldn't let me grasp any information on what each candidate stands for, what he will do if he gets the presidency, etc. The poor moderator had to stop them so many times--- that really shows how unprofessional this debate was. I feel as if both candidates would just let each other talk, they could make better comebacks/remarks--which I think would help undecided voters decide who they would want to be as president.

Basically, cause of all the babbling last night, I really can't tell who won this debate.

Next time, both of them better get their -ish straight- especially Trump lol

Did Franklin Roosevelt’s New Deal weaken or save capitalism?
Give three reasons
Mariana [72]

The correct answer to this open question is the following.

Although the answer could have some in-betweens arguments, I think the New Deal weakened the strict concept of Capitalism.

1.- New Deal original conception was to help the poor American people. This is not a goal of Capitalism.

2.- New Deal tried to create legislation and economic programs to give temporary jobs to citizens that lost their jobs due to the Great Depression.

3.- Democrats' ideas to invest money in social programs for the benefit of the common citizen, is not a characteristic of Capitalism or the Republican platform.

However, I believe the New Deal was good for America during the Great Depression. Although controversial for some, the New Deal had a positive impact on America because the economic situation was the worst in the history of the United States.

The New Deal was the series of economic programs and legislation created by President Franklin D. Roosevelt as a result of the Great Depression that started on October 29, 1929, after the US stock market crashed.

The federal government created the Social Security Administration, the Tennessee Valley Authority Act, the Work Progress Administration, the Social Security Act, and the Civilian Conservation Corps.

An active American citizen should be concerned about being active on which of the following levels: i. Local ii. National iii. I
tangare [24]

- - - - - - - - - - - - - ~Hello There!~ - - - - - - - - - - - - -

➷ I would assume it to be B. i and ii. I wouldn't see any reason for an active American citizen to be involved with worldwide matters.
