The markers of honesty, realness, or authenticity in pop, country and western, and rhythm and blues are:

 • Its rhythm.
 • Catchy melody
 • Ease of rememberance.
 • Authenticity of expression, etc.

Are they the same in each or are there differences?

In some scenarios, they are the same while in some others, they are different.

Example, in pop, there is Catchy melody but that is not the case with western or county.

Vocal style is known to be those element that helps one to freely express their feelings via the use of their voice.

Note that authenticity markers to some extent can be regarded as vocal styles but it is not because vocals or not authentic often differs.
