A biome is defined as the large ecological area where the formation of plants and animals with common characteristics gather due to the similar climates. If I were an ecologist, and i will be determining whether an entire river and lake biome is being threatened by human activity, the indicator species that i might look for are the ones that have been introduced into the biome.
Meld into one nation diverse groups who are peaceful within her borders and have a broader loyalty to the country than the group they belong to. In Canada, (where I live) I like to think that the hatred shown between Muslims and Christians, Hindus and both, Jews and Arabs, is an imported emotion. It's not true of course. We're just much quieter about it.
Let's think about what splits the earth, the equator splits the earth from North to South. The Prime Meridian is what splits the earth from East to West.
