The correct answer is - C. The state of Israel was carved out of Palestinian lands in 1948.

The conflict between Israel and Palestine is mainly due to a territorial dispute because the state of Israel was established on a land were Arabic people leaved, that later had taken the name of Palestinians. So the Israelis consider this land to be their holy land and also a land deserved to have after the genocide over them in the WW II, while the Palestinians consider it as theirs because there was relatively small Israelite population in there before the mass migration from 1948 onward, and it is seen by them as an invasion over their lands.

Explain why berg winds are regarded as a threat to farming communities along the East coast of South Africa
Ratling [72]

The Berg winds are winds that are forming in the plateaus deeper into the mainland. These winds move from the plateaus downwards towards the lowlands on the eastern coast of South Africa. The Berg winds are hot and dry winds and as they move they become even hooter because of the abiotic factors in the area.

These winds are very dangerous for the farming communities because they bring in very hot and dry weather with them. They dry out the soil and suck out every drop of moist out of it, and that combined with the hot weather they bring in is often devastating for the crops as they manage to destroy them, thus making a lot of damage for the farming communities that depend for their survival on those crops.
