Answer and explanation :

We have given that the expression \frac{2^{n+1}}{3^n}=2\times (\frac{2}{3})^n

We have to prove L.H.S = R.H.S

Lets take L.H.S

\frac{2^{n+1}}{3^n}

It can be written as \frac{2^{n+1}}{3^n}=\frac{2^n\times 2^1}{3^n} ( As in multiplication exponent are added )

So \frac{2^n\times 2^1}{3^n}=(\frac{2}{3})^n\times 2 = R.H.S

Hence proved

The current I in an electrical conductor varies inversely as the resistance R of the conductor. The current is 1/5 ampere when t
Margaret [11]

Answer:

0.102048 ampere

Step-by-step explanation:

I α k / R

Current = 1/5 ; R = 8750

What is the current when the resistance is 17150 ohms

First obtain the value of k :

I = k/R

I = 1/5 ampere = 0.2 A

0.2 = k / 8750

k = 1750

What is the current when the resistance is 17150 ohms

I = 1750 / 17150

I = 0.1020408

I = 0.102048 ampere

Solve each system of linear equations by elimination.<br><br>3x-2y=3<br>-x+y=1
Virty [35]

Answer:

x=5, y=6

Step-by-step explanation:

Double the second equation to give you:

-2x+2y=2

Now we add the 2 equations to eliminate the y:

3x-2y=3

  +

-2x+2y=2

x=5

Now we substitute this value to give us:

3(5)-2y=3

15-2y=3

-12=-2y

y=6
You can substitute both these values in equation 2 to see if it works:

-x+y=1

-(5)+6=1 ✅
