The statement is true, passive behavior is a way of functioning in which the person tries to avoid any expression of their rights or feelings at a given time.

Passive conduct entails pronouncing nothing in a reaction, preserving feelings to yourself, hiding emotions from others, and possibly even hiding your emotions from yourself. Passive behavior is often cheating and entails letting other human beings violate your non-public right to be treated with appreciation and dignity.

They are non-confrontational and may come upon as being laid-back or reserved. They generally tend to express their evaluations in ways that do not involve or create non-public warfare. They are happy to go along with the float if they don't have a strong opinion on a selected subject matter.

Why do people date? why do people cheat?
why do people break up?

serious answer
Natasha_Volkova [10]
People date because they think they find interest in each other and they want to express it by hanging around each other more and going places together, maybe even alone.

People cheat because they either saw interest in the person they were originally with and weren't interested anymore, then didn't want to tell them, or they used them completely. (meaning they never liked them but pretended to)

And people break up because one didn't think they wanted it anymore, they fought and thought it wasn't the best situation for them, or they aren't emotionally invested. Or, someone around them who loves them unconditionally didn't like the fact that they were dating to begin with.

I hope those are serious enough answers and that they help! :)
