Pollen grains are male gametophytes in plants. In pollen sacs of an anther, spore mother cells, which is diploid, undergo meiosis and form four haploid spores. These haploid spores undergo mitosis and form haploid pollen grains.

Through the process of elimination:
- Pollen grains are haploid, so choices A. and C. are eliminated.
- In ovules, female gametes are produced, not male gametes, so, choice D. is also eliminated.</span>

With the following crosses of pea plants, give the flower color of offspring and the ratio expected (red is dominant).
Ray Of Light [21]
So, both pea plants being crossed are homozygous reds, which means that their alleles look like: RR. This means that there are only R alleles present, so you can't have any other kind of flower without a genetic mutuation.
This means that the offspring must have a red flower, which would occur 100% of the time.

How does not having a nucleus affect a red blood cell?
NikAS [45]
It affects it in many ways.

1) It makes it more hollow, allowing it to carry more oxygen

2) Because it has no nucleus it is not a "forever" cell, so they "die" once they have been alive for 3-4 months. After they "die" they must be replaced.
