  • <u>Slope</u> = 1.5 ✅
  • <u>Y intercept</u> = -2 ✅

\stackrel\circ{\rightsquigarrow\circ\boldsymbol{\underbrace{Explanation}}}\circ\leftharpoonup

\bullet Let's start by <u>examining the equation </u>we are <u>working</u> with more closely

-- ↩

This particular equation is provided to us in "<u><em>slope intercept form</em></u>".

--

The slope intercept formula is "\boldsymbol{y=mx+c}"

--

In this <u>formula</u>  the letter "m" <u>denotes</u> the slope; the letter "c" <u>denotes</u> the y intercept.

(Remember, variables (letters) represent numbers! ^__^)

--

\bullet Above is all the information we need to come up with a solution to the given problem! ^^

--

Now it's time we considered this.

"<u><em>What is the slope & y intercept of the equation y=1.5x-2?"</em></u>

--

If in the formula y=mx+c, the slope is m, then what is the slope in the equation y=1.5x-2?

The slope is \large\boxed{\mid \boldsymbol{1.5} \mid}}.

The y intercept is \large\boxed{\mid \boldsymbol{-2} \mid}}

\Large\text{Great job!! c:}

--

Hope that this helped! Best wishes!

You need to use y=mx+c to answer this so basically

gradient/slope (m) is 1.5 and the y-intercept (c) is -2

Hope this helps :)

Can someone help me ASAP!!
Lana71 [14]

The answer is 5.

Step-by-step explanation:

To find the interquartile range you must look at the median and the upper and lower halves of the data. The median (12) to the upper half of the data (15) is 3. Next, look at the median (12) to the lower half of the data (10) it is 2. We then add 2 and 3 to get the interquartile range of 5.
