The International Criminal Court can not prosecute crimes before july 2002 because it has not be established.

<h3>What is an International Criminal Court?</h3>

This is the court that investigates and tries individuals that are charged with the gravest crimes of concern to the international world.

Hence, the Jurisdiction of the Court is only on prosecutable crimes that are committed after July 1, 2002 when the Court came into being.
