x²-x-6=0
x²-3x+2x-6=0
x(x-3)+2(x-3)=0
(x+2)(x-3)=0
x={-2,3}

ZEros of reciprocal function

x={-1/2,1/3}

The equation

x²-(-1/2+1/3)x-(1/2)(1/3)=0
x²-1/6x-1/6=0

Hi , the answer is 15 miles per hour because 45 divided by 3 equals 15 , one hour equals to 15 , two hours =30 and three hours =45 , it goes by 15.
