We can associate the meaning of each root word as "therm - heat," "aud - sound," "morph - form," "biblio - book," and "geo - earth," as explained below.

What is a root word?

We can define a root word as the basic part of word that contains its meaning. Root words are used as the foundation to create other words as well, and the new word's meaning is related to the original meaning of the root word.

Let's take the root word "therm" as an example, which originally means "heat." The word "thermometer" that is created from it means "device used to measure heat." As we can see, the meaning of the new word and of the root word are directly connect.

When it comes to the root words in the question, we can associate each of them with their respective meanings as follows:

 • therm - heat
 • aud - sound
 • morph - form

Should parents take all modern technology out of teenagers bedrooms?Pls help me
Vladimir [108]

Answer and Explanation:

It is up to the parent to decide what can and can't be in your room, as they have full authority over you since they are your parents. They have the right to do so even without an explanation. Though if you need some technology in your room, such as a computer/laptop for class, you should kindly ask them to get one just for that only.

Describe why your family makes you feel lucky in 1 paragraph (im giving brainiest and 25 points)
Dafna1 [17]

Answer:

I think a lot of people compare themselves and their family life as "they have it so much better than me". I try not to see it as that. I try to see it as "it could be worse". Try to keep the cup half full rather than half empty. My family does a lot for me, they provide food and roof over my head and I am very grateful for that. I just try to be optimistic and be thankful for the family that I have in front of me.

What characteristics does Elisa share with the chrysanthemums
Gala2k [10]
Chrysanthemums are the central symbol of life, vital energies, sexuality in the story. Just like Elisa herself, they need nurturing and attendance. She lives a boring and unfulfilled life in a dull, loveless marriage, and she has never had a chance of finding her true self, except in the garden. That is why she commits to gardening so eagerly: because she couldn't bear to see those flowers withered. At the end of the story, she sees her chrysanthemums on the road, thrown away, "a dark speck" as Steinbeck says. They are wasted, just like Elisa's life, love, and happiness.

Which clause is an independent clause?
Gemiola [76]

Answer:

An independent clause is a clause that can stand by itself as a simple sentence. An independent clause contains a subject and a predicate and makes sense by itself. Independent clauses can be joined by using a semicolon or by using a comma followed by a coordinating conjunction.

Explanation:

An independent clause is a group of words that can stand on its own as a sentence: it has a subject, a verb, and is a complete thought. Examples: He ran.
