Mathematics

Step-by-step explanation:

The first question is pretty straight forward, all you have to do is get a ruler and measure how long XY is. Then draw another line that has the same exact length next to it and label it AB, by drawing A and B at the end points like how they did in the line XY

For the second question measure the length of FG and then measure the length of YZ and add the two lengths and then draw a line with that length and then label it CD by labeling the end points C and D.

For the last question measure the length of MN and then divide that length in 2 and then label that midpoint O. for example if I had the same problem and I put my ruler on the line and saw the length was 10 inches, I would go to where it's 5 inches and label the midpoint on the line. You also want to draw a perpendicular line through that midpoint O.

Prove the sum of two rational numbers is rational where a, b, c, and d are integers and b and d cannot be zero.
Savatey [412]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Since a,b,c and d are integers,

bd, ad and cb are also integers because product of two integers is an integer

Also, ad + cb is an integer because sum of two integers is an integer.

(ad + cb)/bd is a rational number

a/b + c/d is a rational number

Divide 30 by it's half, add the half of 18 that has been divided by the half of the half of 12 after been divided by half.
WARRIOR [948]

Answer:

We want to divide 30 by it's half.

The half of 30 is 30/2 = 15

then we have: 30/15 = 2

Now we want to add the half of 18, that has ben divided by the half of the half of 12 hafter been divided by half.

The half of 12 is 12/2 =  6

the half of the half of 12 is 6/2 = 3

now, we wanto to divide the half of 18 by that number.

The half of 18 is 18/2 = 9

then we have 9/3 = 3

and we wanted to add this to the number previous found:

2 + 3 = 5
